How to Create a Quote
A visual guide to our internal quote creation process.
Proposal Ready Email
An email is received indicating an Opportunity is in the 'Ready for Proposal' phase.
Team Notification
A notice is sent to the 'procurement' channel in the IT Team.
Start New Quote
The procurement person goes into the Sell system and starts a new quote.
Attach Opportunity
The existing opportunity is attached to the newly created quote in Sell.
Approval Path
Add Items to Quote
Add items from the SOW to the selected quote template in Sell.
Request Internal Approval
An approval request email is sent to the person who requested the quote.
Quote Approved & Sent
Quote is sent to the client and the Opportunity status is updated to 'Proposal Sent'.
Revision Path
Quote Not Approved
The approver replies to the email with required changes.
Revise & Resubmit
Changes are made to the quote and it is sent back for another round of approval.
